This is the most recent body of work. Completed in late 2001.
The nude has always figured strongly in all aspects of his work and this most
recent body of work has combined the classical landscape tradition with an ecclectic
and surreal representation of the naked male body.
DREAMS
& NIGHTMARES
This body of work is the visual realisation of the fears, anxieties
and frustrations of the emotionally dependent young man. The nature of its sexually
charged imagery is drawn from various texts and experiences
TRANSFIGURATION
This body of work was completed in 1983. It deals with the vulnerability
of seemingly secure relationships and questions the very nature of 'love'.
DEATH
These images are to be seen in conjunction with randomly placed
death tags. These tags indicate the cause of death and age of the deceased.
The work deals with the random nature of death.
